Hydroteck designs & manufactures leak-testing machines with water immersion methods to check the porosity of cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, gear housings, clutch housings, oil coolers, high-pressure gas cylinders, intake/exhaust manifolds, engine assembly, etc. All clamping, locating, and plugging will be done by hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders automatically which saves cycle time and increases efficiency. We design our systems thinking them to be easy to assemble, install and connect.

Fixture Built Completely in SS 304

SS 304 is used to manufacture the fixture of the machine. Due to its excellent corrosion resistance and value. It contains between 16 to 24 percent chromium and up to 35 percent nickel, with small amounts of carbon and manganese that adds-on the life of the machine.

Process

These machines are generally used to detect the actual position of leaks underwater. The leak test is performed by immersing the part in a water tank. If a crack or a delamination is present, gas bubbles escape the structure and are immediately detected by visual inspection.
